All profits support Bristol Tree Craft's community work
A
gig
on Thursday 12th June. The event starts at 19:00.
'Stories in the Shavings' concert series is brought to you by Bristol Tree Craft.
---------------------------------
Not all folk tales are about forests full of princesses. But you knew that already.
What you may not know is that there are tales of strangers with milky eyes, pockets full of rubbish and hands that are not their own. And for one night this summer, we invite you to revel in their joy, their chaos, their ingenuity. On this night, we will slink the streets with them, gliding through story and shadow as one. This night, their voices will edge from out of the flickering margins, and, whether human or other, beckon...
Welcome to Foxville
Story Jam, the makers of 'Women Who Gave No F*cks', are back with a brand new show, bringing their characteristic verve, heart and downright badassery to Bristol's Storytelling Scene. Hot on the heels of 2 sellout UK Tours, we're excited to bring these stalwarts of the spoken to host the next 'Stories in the Shavings' from our hilltop stage.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bristol Tree Craft is a community organisation using nature-based craft activities to tackle poor mental health and encourage environmental stewardship. We run free-to-access programmes to empower young people at risk, refugees/asylum-seekers and adults recovering from addiction - in every case using the joys of being creative in nature to help them learn, connect and thrive.
All profits from these concerts directly support our work!
By booking a ticket to one of our gigs, you’re making a real difference to local communities.

'Pakoras for Palestine' are serving up delicious food at all our gigs this summer, providing direct aid to those in Gaza who urgently need support. Come down early, soak up the summer breeze and grab yourself a cold pint and spicy pakora before the show gets underway!
We will run a fully licensed bar supported by Bristol Beer Factory's Brew2Give scheme.
Music/story session around the fire after the show, so (if you feel inclined) bring your instruments/tales to join in, or just sit back and listen!
