The Worm, Blessed Pangolin & Dude the Obscure at Cafe Kino
£5 OTD

A gig held at Cafe Kino on Friday 23rd August. The event starts at 19:30.

Three south-westerly fruitcakes make their way to bristol to perform in the loveable Cafe Kino in Stokes Croft. Should be a joyful and very silly evening with music, performance and costume!

The Worm is a little squiggly thing that lives in a caravan and dreams of following in the footsteps of it's great ancestor, Robin Hood.
The music is silly and catchy and was once described as "celestial and beautiful" by the Space Lady and "proper hatstand" by some old geezer

Blessed Pangolin was born in a fever dream off the coast of Argentina in 2018, and now resides in Plymouth. Curating moving images from nature, light, entertainment and catastrophes, set to DIY avant pop/synthwave. Blessed Pangolin is the work of one neurodiverse woman channelling ear worms, erratic brain patterns and hallucinations

Dude the Obscure is a politely anarchic trumpeteering, dancing, poetically raging puppet-keeper from Plymouth. Both sound and words frequently attempt to disrupt orbit from the common trappings of culture and reality as we know it; as an Autistic-and-proud performer, even if the subject of individual difference isn't being explored, the immersion into a different lens is almost always at play
