A.D. Scruffs at Cafe Kino
See event details

A gig held at Cafe Kino on Saturday 11th April. The event starts at 20:00.

A.D. Scruffs is an Americana, Folk & Roots Trio from Bristol, combining unique storytelling with a captivating stage presence bound to enthral any audience they stand before. With songs soaked in that old time feeling, yet ever relevant for these times, the three members bring them to life with instruments like the banjo, double bass, resonator guitar and a rich blending of vocal harmonies layered on top. Catch their next show and you’ll find yourself entwined in the soundscape as you watch the band in their natural element; lost in the music.
Since their debut album dropped in March 2025, and with a sold out show in their harborside hometown to celebrate it, the band have been storming into their second year with support slots for acclaimed acts from Fine Lines, to Emilia Quinn, to True Strays across the UK and beyond. A.D. Scruffs are carving out a loyal and growing fanbase. This April will see the release of their latest single ‘Thirsty Old World’ with their first UK tour, and with festival dates to follow across the summer, along with so much more music, it’s clear these three are on something of a roll.

A.D. Scruffs will be joined by the wonderful Ruby Darbyshire.

From Ruby's first performance at the Edinburgh fringe festival, to Celtic connections and many folk festivals around Scotland, her background created the best foundation for her ongoing career in music. Currently based in the South West, Ruby's second EP released in August 2025 has created a stir.

Don't miss her opening set!

Entry requirements: 18+, any under 18s accompanied by 21+ adult 1:1 ratio
