Rosie Brownhill, Double Pelican & Molly Linen at Cafe Kino
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"Kino basement pastoral! Rosie Brownhill evokes wide open fields and eldritch forests with her piano, penny whistle and fingerpicked paeons. With the dulcet joys of local Lost Maps dream-folker Molly Linen, this is essential escapism FFO: Virginia Astley, Vashti Bunyan, Devon Sproule, Nick Drake."

A gig held at Cafe Kino on Saturday 25th May. The event starts at 19:30.

Rosie Brownhill is an instrumentalist and composer from Staffordshire, her intricate fingerstyle guitar playing and use of penny whistles hark back to the traditional folk music heard on this isle before there were microphones around to record it. Not to be missed.
