An event held at Cafe Kino on Saturday 7th November. The event starts at 10:30.
Bristol Apartheid Free Zone (BAFZ) is the biggest community led boycott of Israeli produce in solidarity with Palestine in Europe.
Starting with a handful of organisers it has grown into a vibrant campaign that has signed over 7000 people up to boycott Israeli produce and over 100 local shops to not sell them.
In order to achieve liberation for Palestine we need to make embed solidarity with the oppressed into the fabric of our communities. Join us on November 7th as we will aim to continue doing just that.
We will meet in the Basement of Cafe Kino at 10:30 before splitting into two groups
One group will talk to local shops on Stokes Croft. These will include shops already boycotting as well as shops that have not taken that step yet
A second group will doorknock the residents of Cotham to ask them to pledge to boycott Israeli produce and expand our campaign into a new area of the city
If you're new to the campaign you'll be paired with an experienced organiser and given training on how to talk to the community about Palestine on the day
We will also meet for a social afterwards (location TBC!) at 14:30
Come along to any or all of the day that you can make! Bring a friend and get involved to make Bristol Apartheid Free and achieve liberation for Palestine!
Register for free - any donations will go towards room bookings and leaflet printing
