After the success of their first gig together at the end of 2025, Teorstan and Anya Pailthorpe are embarking on their debut tour, bringing two complimentary sets of storytelling and folk songs around the South of England, wrapping it up here in their hometown of Bristol.

Teorstan is led by songwriter, singer, and guitarist Tom Martin. Named after the Old English word for the river that runs through his hometown, Teorstan’s songs combine the storytelling tradition of folk music with a modern feel, pairing a poetic pen with raw, real emotion. His songs blend the narrative folk of Nebraska-era Springsteen and the intricate, intimate stylings of Bon Iver and Sufjan Stevens.

Anya Pailthorpe is an independent singer-songwriter, taking notes from folk, pop, and indie. For fans of Dodie, Laura Marling, and Joni Mitchell, her songs tell the tales of adventures in love and connection, with the occasional deep dive into something darker. Anya studied music at Hereford College of Arts, back in 2017, and then went on to travel the world with her guitar, writing songs of her experiences. With lyrics that connect straight to the heart, and melodies that draw on your emotions, Anya weaves a world with her music that even the long-thought ‘dead inside’ can’t help but be immersed by. Now settled back in the UK, she recently celebrated the release of her latest album, Songs of a Travelling Heart, and is in the process of recording the next one.
