"Kino Lives! Taking back control of Stokes Croft with a week-long programme of underground Bristol sonic witchery in its (until now) under-used basement. Expect devilish hardware misuse and industrial pain jazz from ATC / Eggy Tapes gremlins Monika Badly and lifeisfeedback + doom-scrolling post-internet sound art from Enys Mottet."

- Cafe Kino Presents:
- KINO LIVES: Night 2 (Tue 1st July)
- IMPROV'S GREATEST HITS: BLUNDER + ENYS MOTTET + RINGTONES & NOAH RADLEY
- 40% of Proceeds Donated To Trans Aid Bristol
- 7-Night Celebration (Mon 30th June - Sun 6th July)
Improv’s Greatest Hits is a night and fluid collective using
improvised music as a vehicle to mix musical and social scenes.
Blurring subculture lines, debuting new artists + collaborations
on the regular.
- BLUNDER - www.instagram.com/monikabadly / www.instagram.com/lifeisfeedback
BLUNDER is the two headed chimera lovechild of Monika Badly & Lifeisfeedback, a venomous and bitter creature born from chaotic feedback networks and hellish brass cacophony - it’s two heads fighting and fornicating with equal sadistic pleasure. Groaning metal whispers, faint gasps of jazz and murky sub frequencies combined into a wall of skin-crawling dubbed out freakazoid noise.
- ENYS MOTTET - www.instagram.com/enysmottet
Enys Mottet is a multidisciplinary artist based in England, New York. With beats constructed from, voice, synthesis and internet rubble, their live show sees them combine their musical tendencies with visual cut scenes and performance. Engaging primarily in themes of: division, revisionism, transport and austerity as they scrutinise it all in a physical context, via a detachment from genre.
- RINGTONES & NOAH RADLEY - www.instagram.com/ringtonesss / www.instagram.com/radley_noah
Having met supporting the legendary (and now defunct) Bristol band Grandchild, Noah Radley ( Patsy Delve / Lande Hekt / Lifter etc ) & Ringtones ( Enter The Noid ) quickly bonded over a shared love of melancholy drone music. This show will be their second improvised performance together having supported Jabu & Jawnino at the Cube last year.
