EMEI
Born in rural Ireland but now based in Bristol, EMEI is the moniker of Louise Brady, who weaves a tapestry of sounds from home and field recordings as well as elements of voice and electronic instrumentation.
Al began making electronic music in the halcyon days of 2001, but was soon drawn to DJing, playing electronics, ambient and techno. In 2016 Al returned to writing music, with live techno performances for Bristol electronics events Submerge and ChkOne. Since then he has focused on an ambient/abstract sonic project, Silhouette Sect, using field-recordings, synth-drones and live-looping to examine time, texture and sense. In 2018 Silhouette Sect released the album Metahope on Focused Silence.
An awesomely strange sublime singular noise with Sonia's voice weaving gorgeously through it.

Polakov
Polakov is a live experimental musical project that combines electronic sources, found sound, electro-acoustic interactions, recorded spoken word and DIY electronics to create distracted soundtracks to imaginary films.
Sound textures are triggered from a range of modular electronic devices, motors, solenoids, speakers, sensors and non-musical equipment. Exploring the space between chance and repetition, sounds combine to create genre crossing melodies and rhythmic patterns that are uniquely linked to a a point in time.
If you, or someone you know, creates ambient/drone/soundscape music and would like to be considered for future events please don't hesitate to contact us.
We will strive to ensure equal representation at our shows and as such would love to be pointed in the direction of any local POC, Trans, LGB, non-binary and female artists who would fit the bill.
