‘Wild Within’ is an exciting collaboration of five women abstract artists who are holding their first exhibition together this Autumn. They have a shared passion for exploring abstraction each in their own individual ways. The title Wild Within encapsulates a combination of the idea of wild women who are independent and unwilling to take the traditional path, and their process of expressing what they each hold within into their art.
“Although each artist’s work pulls from different themes and inspirations, we share a brave and bold sense of femininity at the heart of each of our practices. For some of us it manifests visually as curvaceous feminine forms and self reflections, for others it’s motherhood and reconnecting with our childhood roots. For some of us our femininity is more about spiritual empowerment, allowing nature and our intuition to lead us, tapping into our deepest emotions and channeling that into our work. For all of us, our art is an outlet, an expression and a voice that we perhaps wouldn’t feel comfortable or able to share without paint or clay leading the way.”

The exhibition runs from 31st October to 5th November 2025 at Centrespace Gallery in the heart of the old city of Bristol, which can be found down the narrow graffitied walls of Leonard Lane, just off Corn Street. Expect to see a range of large-scale artworks as well as some smaller more affordable works on offer.

The gallery is wheelchair accessible.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs, 1:1 ratio)
