A gig held at Cloak on Thursday 11th July. The event starts at 19:00.

T4T is back!
We are kicking off pride weekend with talks on the trials and tribulations of gender affirming healthcare with tans+ activists Sophie Litherland, Eden and George Avill.
Following the talks we will be platforming poetry from trans+ poets Aish Humphreys and Sophie Litherland. Finally, we will be joined by trans and gender diverse musicians; Rowyn Judd, Paris, Seb Waters, Gerst AND GORZ!!!!

QUEER PUNK band based in Briztol but will conquer the wurld, GorZ are multidisciplinary artists amplifying their voices about societal ills. Incorporating avant garde theatrics and paper mache props into their live sets, the collective is an audio visual project as much as it is a band. Shedding their skin to talk on topics like skin tags, consumerism and trans rights. Having played with The Oozes, Tokky Horror, Skating Polly and Snooper they display a graphic insight into the dirty and enraged mind of GORZ!

Seb Waters is a solo performer, producer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. Using a mix of janky samples, guitars, swelling keys and voice, Seb builds songs live from the ground up as a way of materialising intangible emotions and sharing experience.

Aish is a queer poet, facilitator and curator from Cornwall, living in Bristol. He was the poet in residence for the SS Great Britain in 2022 and has performed across the UK as well as internationally. His first poetry pamphlet, Saints of Golden Hour was released in February 2023 which explores soberness, girlhood, queer relationships and the gods we create for ourselves. He co-produced a queer poetry event for Lyra Festival 2024 and was a Young Curator with MAYK for Mayfest 2024. He is currently collaborating on the production of a spoken word theatre show exploring transness and masculinity.

Gerst is an electronic musician and sound artist from Devon. She combines modular synthesis, found sound and vocals to weave together intricate, skittering rhythms and haunting textures.

Inspired by melancholy storytellers such as Kimya Dawson and Daniel Johnston, Paris will also be joining us to sing autobiographical poetry about childhood, yearning, heartbreak and kangaroos. Their soft ukulele paired with the harsh reality of life might urge you to playfully dance with the bittersweet. Paris is a bear filled with rage and soft fur filling.

Rowyn Judd is a trans songwriter with their heart on their sleeve. Bursting with cathartic lyrics and a fondness for folksy melodies, Ro bears his soul with stories from his life. Rowyn reaches out for connections with his voice and guitar, hoping their lo-fi intimate songs resonate with like minded audiences.

100% of the ticket sales from this event will go to gender affirming healthcare fundraisers! duh!
