Bristol Ceilidh Collective at The Cloak and Dagger

A gig held at The Cloak and Dagger on Monday 30th January. The event starts at 19:30.

Kicking off Independent Venue Week with a Bristol treasure!

Proudly Bristol Based, Bristol Ceilidh Collective take high-energy group folk dance to the edge of its boundaries. ‘Ceilidh’ is Gaelic for ‘Togetherness’- From Irish, to Scottish, Klezmer to Bluegrass, guiding the crowd by calling them through each set dance of ancient shapes or our original creations. Celebrating ancestorial traditions, it’s a highly sweaty and connected experience, one that’s happened throughout time…They have experimented with the concept and have held sell out events in Bristol such as the ‘The Bass Ceilidh’ and ‘The Kinky Ceilidh’.

For this one off intimate gig at The Cloak and Dagger the BCC will be playing a mix of some of their more unusual songs, alongside some of their classic tunes. Get ready pack out The Cloak!!

Cloak Room CIC have successfully been awarded funds from the amazing Music Venue Trust! Music Venue Trust is a UK registered charity which acts to protect, secure and improve Grassroots Music Venues. C&D will be using our fund to make improvements to our PA system and host workshops for our promoters.
