The Clean Up with support from MOON at The Cloak and Dagger

A gig held at The Cloak and Dagger on Thursday 20th April. The event starts at 19:30.

Newly formed The Clean Up are a six piece funk and soul band based from Bristol. Their upbeat funky grooves lay the perfect foundation for their catchy self-reflective lyrics and soulful melodies.
The band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Calum Hayes, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Miles Stringer, backing vocals and percussionist Rosie Clark, bass extraordinaire Chris Vickery, Oscar Gordon Christopher on the saxophone and Mike Cornelius on the drums.
Having played together in different groups for years The Clean Up have formed a tight nit group, creating a unique sound informed by a variety of different music influences, such as The Dip, John Mayer, Lake Street Dive, and Paolo Nutini.

MOON are a four-piece indie rock band from Swindon, UK. The band consists of vocalist Dakota Simpson, guitarist/vocalist Dec Casey, bassist Eddie Witcomb and drummer Jon Snape.
Since forming in 2021, they have been writing and demoing relentlessly for their upcoming debut EP due for release in 2023. Their debut single, ‘Sweet Return’ was released in 2022 with it being the first of many songs to come.
Combining wistful lyrics with glowing melodies and an atmospheric live set, plus support from BBC Introducing In The South And West (James Threlfall and Harriet Robinson) and BBC Radio Wiltshire (Rhiannon Fitz-Gerald), MOON embark on their journey as a band with a strong start.
