This is a place to be creative. Write, act and create for Screen and Live Performance. This group is here so you can try something you’ve never done before… Or to get back to doing what you love, with the focus on creating vibrant characters and entertaining stories.
We’re looking for creators from underrepresented genders. This includes cis women, trans women, trans men, non-binary people, and those who are otherwise marginalized. We want to bring contemporary perspectives to the forefront and create films and performances we’d want to watch ourselves. This includes expressing it through dramatic pieces but just as importantly through comedy.
This is a safe space for us all to learn and try new things, while making friends along the way. Plus, we want to actually produce tangible pieces of work you can be proud of.
We want you to walk away with one or more of the following: Being part of some small but mighty films, have a showreel under your belt, done some live performing, written something meaningful to you and much more.
This group can also be a brilliant way to expand your creative network, as we have attendees’ who demonstrate a range of skills including; Writing, Directing, Theatre and On-screen Acting, Camera Operating, Editing and Sound Recording.
