Poppy Ackroyd at Colston Hall Foyer
£10.90 incl. booking fee

A gig held at The Louisiana on Wednesday 13th February. The event starts at 20:00.

Contemporary classical composer and performer Poppy Ackroyd has won herself high acclaim with her first full-length album Resolve that sits “comfortably on par with neo-classical giants Nils Frahm, Max Richter and Hauschka” (Mojo). Wielding strings and piano with drumsticks, e-bows, picks and all five fingers on both hands Ackroyd creates intricate, delicate, and lyrical music with unusual timbres and textures, she’s undoubtably “a neo-classical force to be reckoned with” (Electronic Sound).

This is a seated Colston Hall Presents event in The Foyer at Colston Hall.
