Alasdair Roberts & Friends at Colston Hall Foyer
£15.26 incl. booking fee

A gig held at Bristol Beacon Foyer on Wednesday 23rd October. The event starts at 20:00.

Scottish folk singer Alasdair Roberts has been “quietly escalating towards Scottish national treasure status” (Mojo) with his skilful reimagining of traditional Scots ballads. With his 2019 release ‘The Fiery Margin’ he has stepped away from adaptation and released a collection of original material combining his characteristically idiosyncratic lyrics with a cast of expert musicians. These new tunes bare all the hallmarks of Scotland’s rich folk heritage delivered in a fresh and forward-thinking approach. Joined by Ailbhe Nic Oireachtaigh, Alex Neilson and Stevie Jones this quartet of prolific folk musicians will transport you to the highlands from our intimate foyer. Ages 14+ (Under 18’s to be Accompanied by an adult) This is a seated event in Colston Hall Foyer.
