Poetry Workshop for Children at Colston Hall Workshop Space 2

A event on Sunday 17th May. The event starts at 10:00.

Beth Calverley always wanted to be a poet when she grew up… and now she is! Beth brings the playfulness of poetry to this workshop, which is aimed at children from 8 to 12 years of age (parents and carers are welcome to join this session).

During the session, we will mess around with metaphors, experiment with rhymes, and transform our ideas into poems that fizz. You’ll soon be writing about characters real or imagined and all you need to bring is a pen and notepad. Beth will then show everyone how to make the magic happen...
