Bristol Takeover 2019 at Colston Hall

A gig held at Bristol Beacon on Saturday 27th April. The event starts at 12:00.

This April we’re showcasing Bristol’s best bands, DJs, musicians, labels and emerging artists in a FREE one-day mini festival. Following the success of 2017’s Bristol Takeover in celebration of our 150th anniversary, this year’s festival will showcase some of the best acts our city has to offer, on stages throughout our foyer hosted by some outstanding home-grown brands. Bristol’s dedicated new music magazine Bristol In Stereo will be hosting our live foyer stage with independent DIY record label Breakfast Records bringing some of their hottest local talent. Saffron, BIMM Bristol and Multi-Track present some of the city’s best emerging talent along with a ‘first look’ showcase of Multi-Track’s five 2019 Home-Grown Heat artists. After they blasted out some of the best underground music with 10 influential Bristol DJs from our old 1950s box office at 2017’s Takeover, we had to bring back SWU.FM to host our Terrace stage ahead of their station re-launch later this year. And to top it all off Bristol-based speaker manufacturer Minirigs are hosting our very own mini-house-party in a secret corner of our Foyer! With 9 hours of back-to-back, brilliant, Bristol live music on offer for completely free entry, make sure you save the date for Bristol Takeover.
