A event on Tuesday 14th April. The event starts at 19:45.
Watch bats emerge at dusk along one of Bristol's most beautiful stretches of river. We'll be walking the riverside path at Conham River Park as pipistrelles, Daubenton's and noctule bats become active — detecting their calls, watching them hunt over the water, and learning what's actually going on when you see a bat flicker past.
We're led by a licensed bat ecologist with 7+ years' experience who'll handle the kit and the commentary. Bat detectors, infrared cameras and bat ID sheets to take home are all provided.
