A
clubnight
held at Cosies
on Friday 11th August. The event starts at 22:00.
Only 30 pre-sale tickets. The rest will be £5 cash or card otd.
If the event appears to be sold out on headfirst please don't think that you can't get in. We sell tickets primarily on the door.
When it comes to event management sometimes opportunities arise that you have to welcome with both hands, we were given the heads up that Dev/Null would be in the UK and we team up with Dissonance to give him a true Bristol welcome.
We have curated a line up that would complement the variety of music that Dev/Null is known for producing.
Expect to be kept on your toes as we deliver an onslaught of Breakbeat Hardcore, Jungle and the odd curveball thrown in for good measure.
LINE UP:
DEV/NULL - [8205 Recordings]
This overseas artist is someone who has been extremely active over the last twenty years within electronic music.
He has played Jungle and Hardcore at various locations in America and the UK and has also featured across several radio shows with the likes of Tim Reaper and Equinox.
His passion for the music we all love has also seen him produce two albums on a small handheld sampler and also runs a label called 8205 Recordings which is dedicated to releasing tracks that have not seen the light of day since the nineties and releases them on vinyl for the very first time.
It is a privilege to have Dev/Null visit Cosies from Boston and we look to welcome him in true Bristol fashion.
Anina has been handpicked by Dev/Null himself as the perfect warm up act for the madness he will bring to the dancefloor.
She is no stranger when it comes to Bristol's nightlife as she has frequented the airwaves of local station Noods Radio and has played at most of the cities intimate venues.
We highly recommend that you check out her Soundcloud as this artist will not be pigeon-holed into a certain type of sound, there is something for everyone and we like the heir of mystery she brings to the table.
As we go down this line up we start to recognize a few names who have became a staple in Bristol's Jungle/Drum & Bass community, Dissonance and DJ Azure have been a true asset to this movement.
Dissonance have been putting on events that have seen them sky rocket in popularity over the last few years whilst keeping diversity and authenticity at the top of their delivery.
We see Dissonance team up with other Education Sessions Residents to support the same ethos and add another layer of depth to what will already be a killer line up.
This is one back to back we had to make happen but with Boomtown happening over the same date, we didn't know if it was going to happen.
We see the Mother of Kafka Radio - a platform that broadcasts underground music from the heart of Bristol go head to head with one of the most talented producers to come from the south west.
He recently had his tunes played by Sherelle at Outlook in Croatia and is sitting on loads of unreleased WIPs and edits to which we hope to see damage the dancefloor.
This set is going to be wild. If you recognize these two names you know that they will bounce off each other creating an atmosphere like no other.
