We've been all over the Eastern European Riviera since you last saw us in Bristol. We've been everywhere from Meadows in the Mountains Festival in Bulgaria, to the Albanian wonder that was Kala Festival and Ellie made a trip to Love International Festival as well as holding down the Radio for Noods Radio, a quick jet stop to Romania, and on a busted Knee. Trooper. From Sets on Mountains to Beaches, Ferry's to Ambulances, Plane to Bus, we are back to reality. And back to our favourite sweat box Cosies!
As Rough Draft in its various incarnations there has never been a moment when we didn't want to book D. Tiffany. It's clear that we have a serious penchant for all things Vancouver, and we are absolutely delighted to welcome D. Tiffany/Dj Zozi to our humble party. You'll have heard Edward rinsing the broken beat gem that is How RU Plush off her Blue Dream E.P. with the words "Excuse me Thanks, Pardon me, Thanks, Pardon me, I'm Trying To Dance".
Vancouver’s unique brand of dance music is much like the city itself - hazy and laid-back, with a melancholic beauty unique to the North Pacific.
Sophie Sweetland, better known as D. Tiffany's (and occasionally as DJ Zozi) approach drips with charm and originality, her productions effortlessly roam the realms of deep house, techno, breakbeat, disco, and ambient, but with playful confidence. This vision is flawlessly executed and showcased on her newly founded label: Planet Euphorique.
A sonic ambassador to the North, she has released music on Canadian labels Pacific Rhythm, Normals Welcome, Isla, Genero, Heart to Heart, and Cacao.
It's a huge honour to host D. Tiffany, so come shake a leg. Forget your Ionian/Adriatic/Mediterranean/lack of holiday blues and move.
RD Rezidon'z Ellie Rhino Stokes and Ed Eldridge will be warming up and maybe down the spot depending on how long D. Tiff wants to spin, as usual. Extended set. Extra Sound. Only bring Good Vibes.
