Us lot at SOZ LAD HQ have had a beltin' year, working hard to present Bristol with the best Queer Fuckin Hardcore we could muster. We have brought you punk, jungle and gabber galore, but now even the most hardcore bitches must rest, self care ya hear me?
FOR A SEND OFF TO REMEMBER we have brought you an incredible line up of talent from across the country. Make sure you get ya sxc lil booties down to Cosies on 3rd November, for some incredible Bristol debut sets, mixed in with some local legends.
SLAYPHEX TWINS (Bristol Debut)
A fresh duo made of Estonian gals who are based in London. They play to entertain at high speed, nothing under 170+ bpm. Expect a mix of unmixable, everything pop, hard, soft, fast, loud, fun, wet, sticky, tall and small. The goal is to put smiles on peoples faces and make everyone jump jump jump.
DEAD IN BLOOM (local legend)
Head honcho of Coreligula and contributing to the raw scene straight out the womb. Bringing you straight up terror, industrial and dirty fuckin music. Not for the faint hearted.
DJ GIRLDICK (soz lad Bristol debut)
Newest addition to the Soz Lad crew, Girldick is not so secretly here to share the good word of our lords and saviours - bangin' donks and stonkin' hardcore. Cutting their teeth across the Manchester scene they can't wait to reunite with the crew on Soz Lad home turf to dish out some chaos.
DJ ANGEL SLICE (bristol dj debut of a local legend)
Taking inspiration from nostalgic uk hardcore sound, merging hard techno, trance and wonky soundcloud bangers. Making her DJ debut at Boomtown and tearing up teknivals with her heavyweight records and mind melting mixes, DJ Angelslice has been making waves overseas and in local queer scenes around the country, and she’s only just getting started.. grab a battenburg and take ya seat cus ya got a canny ride ahead of ya!
NYMFRO
The one we all know and love. London born, Bristol based selector. Taking inspiration from the underground rave scene and interwining nostalgic feeling UK grown sound with Jamaican roots, exploring breaks, jungle, and heavyweight basslines.
