️ DUB FOR PEACE at Cosies
Tickets on the door

A clubnight held at Cosies on Saturday 11th November. The event starts at 22:00.

Rider Shafique is an MC, poet and recording artist hailing from Gloucester. With over 20 years experience in performing live shows, from dub-step to dancehall, Shafique needs little introduction. His recent collaboration with Dubkasm and Ishmael Ensemble has again shown his ability to fuse genre and style, with conscious and political message.

Yaksha, Bristol’s new generation dub producer, has been dedicated to high quality roots sounds, founding his label Yaksha Sounds in 2019. Since then, he has worked with artists like Fikir Amlak, Ashanti Selah and Alpha & Omega to name a few. Known for electric live dub mixing sets, as well as support from his father King David Horns and Emperor Wanje, his sets always deliver high energy.

Selecta ‘Eyes’ Isaacs, promoter and organiser of Two Step Forward, brings old-school roots and deep dubs to the turntable, strictly vinyl selection.
