UDAYA is a collective founded around celebrating and platforming global majority DJs in Bristol, bringing together the sounds of their roots around the world with UK dance genres. As a nod to Cosies’ historical cultural standing in Bristol’s nightlife, UDAYA is bringing an all female, all global majority lineup on April 6th with sets inspired by jungle, dub, reggae, and more. Expect fast beats and good tunes for an all round Saturday night party!

Playing with Daytimers, Brown Exellence and RepresentAsian, ISHU is well practiced at getting the party started, bringing new dub and reggae sounds seamlessly mixed with South Asian influences, funky percussion, and grime.

CHIEDZA
Hailing from the vibrant musical landscape of South Africa, DJ Dhiedza has emerged on the Bristol scene pulsating with rhythms of the diaspora. Her sonic palette weaves a tapestry of soulful amapiano, melodic Afro-house and the bassy beats of GQOM, creating an electrifying fusion that transcends borders.

SIMETRA
Dj SIMETRA brings sets inspired by Afro-Caribbean sounds, blending Afro beats, funk, garage, and so much more.
