An absolute force to be reckoned with, NGAIO is the definition of a multi-hyphenate! Powerhouse DJ, exceptional jazz singer, heart-hitting spoken word performer, radio host and founder of Booty Bass, Ngaio effortlessly combines the truth, emotion and politics of life into her musical artistry. A long-time friend of the Ruffnek family, it means more than we can say to invite Ngaio to the Diskotek for a truly special DJ session.

Known for his melodic funky, grime-inflected rhythms and punchy sub bass lines, Bristol producer mainstay GEMMY is a key figure in pioneering the city’s electronic music identity. Alongside Joker, he created the enduring purple wow sound: a truly influential development which brought both funk and a synthwave technicolour to dubstep's bass weight. Still busily releasing new tracks (adding to his inimitable catalogue of total classics!), it's honour to have Gemmy guest the Ruffnek Diskotek dancefloor.

In support, the Ruffnek regulars will be on hand to keep you bouncing, picking tracks from soca, amapiano, dancehall, global bass, and their own stash of in-house productions. Trust us, you won't hear these selection anywhere else!

Finally, we'll be joined by session and club percussion specialist, BONGOSAN. Longtime extended Ruffnek family, this man's traveled the length of UK club land, spicing up dances with expert grooves.
