We are back after some time away to bring you this special line up, spanning Dubwise to Dancehall to Jungle. We are very excited to welcome for the first time, Think Tonk, all the way from Manchester to Bristol's favourite basement... Cosies!
THINK TONK (V-Recordings)
A celebration of Drum and Bass, Dancehall, Reggae, Jungle, Hip hop, Trap and House. Mancunian project Think Tonk is the culmination of years of Love for the UK, West Indian and US dance floor music and culture. Think Tonk's production has found heavy Support across the board from: Toddla T, DJ Fresh, DJ Target, Sigma, Bryan G, Dub Phizix and DJ Hype to name but a few.
One half of Think Tonk is a Producer/DJ with a history of production routed in the early 90's Jungle and rave scene. His music has received support from far a field as John Peel to Slipmatt, from Grooverider to Annie nightingale. The other half of Think Tonk is a well loved and respected MC and Vocalist, with a multitude of accolades in both drum and bass and UK hip hop.
The culmination is a dancehall/dnb hybrid. Think Tonk is an adventure into all things Bashy, Bassy, Wavey and Ravey. Make sure you come down to check out this rare opportunity to catch this in an intimate venue.
KALUM (Hidden Agenda)
With forthcoming releases with Ruffneck Ting and Totally Dubwise, it is definitely the case that Kalum has been on the rise for the last couple of years. This is especially true since the conception of Hidden Agenda, which he has established as one of, if not the biggest Jungle night in Birmingham. We are excited to hear the big selection of Jungle and DnB that Kalum brings to cap off the night.
RIESH TAFARI (Send For)
Some may remember the clash we had down at Cosies with the Send For crew. Even though we were the clear victors... we rated the selection on both sides! Therefore we have asked Riesh to come down and represent the gang, spinning some classic Dancehall flavours to get everyone feeling lively before the main event.
SLOTH B2B CHAD DUBZ (Dubwise Set)
Foundation Audio head honcho, Chad Dubz and our very own Slothman will be taking a break from the world of dubstep for this session for a very special back to back. Bringing a heavy selection of Reggae and Dubwise tunes, they will be warming up the vibes just right on the 26th... not one to miss!
