Where has 2024 gone?
We enter June which is known to be part of festival season and also half way through the year so we decided to bring a local legend to Cosies for our Residency and make this the spot to be at if you are not trawling through a field somewhere trying to find your tent!
We also call in the support of the Afterdark Radio crew who consist of DJ Remedee, DJ Aftershock and DJ Leftarm.
DJ SUV - Full Cycle / Ramp Up / V Recordings [VINYL EXCLUSIVE]
We bring a local legend to Cosies who goes by the name of DJ SUV.
This is a artist who we pay massive respect to as he has been here since the early development of Jungle / Drum & Bass with involvement in the New Forms Album by Roni Size on the legendary Full Cycle which we all remember very fondly.
Suv is also part of the renown V-Recordings who some people including Drum&BassArena often overlook as just another record label - but it's more then just a label it is one of the longest standing movements in Drum & Bass music who have recently turned 30 years old as a brand.
Suv is an artist who in recent years decided to break away from being on someone's discography and start up his own venture with 'Ramp Up' who have been featured on Festivals and frequent clubs in and around Bristol.
We are very lucky to secure this legend for an ninety minute exclusive vinyl set; something this artist and individual has rarely done in a long period of time.
DJ REMEDEE
After our outstanding event that took place after the Fabio & Grooverider orchestra in July 2023 it was only right that we had to bring the 'storm from the east' back to Cosies!
By 'storm' we hope he keeps the questionable weather back in Norwich but the selection he will bring will hit you like a hurricane as this DJ will handpick a certain style that will keep sparring partner and fellow DJ 'Aftershock' on his tippy toes.
It is an honor to have Remedee back in the building and we look to give him another warm welcome with long term friends joining him once again.

Resident DJ and Afterdark Radio's frontman 'Aftershock' takes the hotseat once again to execute the perfect warm down with two close colleagues.
This DJ carries an extensive record collection and has the experience to match it.
We can always rely on this individual to step up when needed and we show support to his radio show/brand with full effect.

DJ LEFTARM
When we first started the Education Sessions movement we gathered the interest of many DJ's who wanted to get involved.
One name who kept popping up was Leftarm.
Unfortunately Leftarm could not make our May event due to illness and due to resident DJ - Ozzy LJ focusing on his exams it made sense to bring Leftarm down to join his long term friends!
This talented individual has supported the likes of Uncle Dugs and Remarc and is a resident for Eruption Radio.

Leftarm will be warming upto the early hours of Friday morning with what will be a true progression delivered in an Educational format.
This selector has been DJ'ing since 1995 and will be taking us on a journey through early influences with the spine of his set starting with 1992 jungle that progresses into the best of 1994/1995 whilst he takes aim with a onslaught of newer releases that may or may not have been played at recent events over a ninety minute warm up period.
