Twende is a multi genre night celebrating weird and wonderful music from all around the globe. Expect some heavy baselines and funky rhythms to throw your limbs around and dance too. On the decks we have;

Grace - a London-based DJ that is dedicated to showcasing the musical contributions of artists from West and Central Africa. While Grace enjoys performing genres like Highlife, Makossa, Afrobeat, and Soukous, you may also catch her playing Afro House and House music during her late-night sets.

Kaya m (Kane FM) Kaya M has made a great mark with her bold sets, honing in on soulful blends of rocksteady, ska, and early stepper's from the 60’s to 90’s. Each month she presents a radio show on Kane FM, and works as a keys player, as part of a studio band for record label Room in the Sky. Lyrical messages pepper her exclusive pre-releases, as she steers through songs of liberation to music for movement.

Dily and Kat (Brakery) - These two lovely humans DJs bring a blend of music from all over the world like Samba, Dub and Baile Funk expect a little bit of everything.

Shifter - A very silly and lovely human playing a mix of bassy and funky rhythms from all over expect a some Dub and a splash of Soukous and a bit of ska and everything in-between.

General Bench - Does know what he is gonna play but its probably gonna be some Pan African, Latin and Caribbean music with a splash of Soul and Funk.
