Trax Mori launches a new event series focused on bass driven sonics.

Sound-system music mutations, from the roots foundation to dub techno explorations.

The opening round will be at our beloved Cosies, a Bristol institution which we find perfect for this mid-week session. Line-up features:

FRECKLES
Often seen with the Two Step Forward family, Freckles has a vast collection of foundational sounds from the early roots to heavy dubwise bullets. She plays her wax bi-monthly with a show on Void Radio and has been found on several occasions dropping killer tunes on the mighty Downbeat Melody Sound System.

TIGHE
With a production process rooted in Dub mixing, Tighe melds Dubstep and Dub Techno influences into stripped-back, percussive rollers built for the soundsystem. Fresh off the release of a debut EP on Beatrice M.'s label Bait and armed with an array of unreleased productions, Tighe comes ready to take dance floors on deep, meditative journeys.

YAKKA
Yakka is a versatile artist rooted in dub mysticism, pushing the boundaries of sound-system culture. His latest EP was released on his own label Trax Mori, which also hosts a monthly residency on Noods Radio. Recent work includes dub mixes for The Viceroys and Cornell Campbell on Poorman Friend and Italy’s Dig This Way. His DJ sets are eclectic and unpredictable. Expect the unexpected.
