After a cracking second event in Feb, Absolute Body Control return to cosy Cosies in early March with their first 'out of towner' guest. ABC is a reaction against the pr first, music last, current state of the UK dance scene. A space for DJs to create and explore and connect with like minded souls on the dancefloor. Hand picked DJs who have passion and a genuine history with the music they love.
A dark room, great music and a nice crowd. That's all you need.
We don't have a set music policy so expect to hear jazz funk, hip hop, heavy funk, electro, boogie, soul, broken beat, italo, ebm, disco, 80s house, post punk, afro beat, reggae and much more. If it goes off it goes on.

Danny Berman aka Red Rack'em is described by Juno Records as 'one of the most respected figures in UK underground house circles'. Creator of classics 'Wonky Bassline Disco Banger' 'In Love Again' 'How I Program' 'Kalimba' 'Tomato Pope', he's also a much loved broadcaster with regular shows on Rinse FM, Noods Radio and guest spots on BBC Radio 1 for Pete Tong, Mistajam and Gilles Peterson. He also manages 2 labels Bergerac and Disco Banger. After touring all over the world for the last decade, Danny started Absolute Body Control to create a more creative space and get back to the reasons why he got into the game in the first place.
Al McGowan is part of Nottinghams much loved 'Antics Roadshow' crew who are famous for throwing the most crazy parties in disused factories and youth hostels in the countryside. An expert in multiple genres with 20 years of crate digging behind him, Al is a serious HEAVY FUNK and SOUL 45s collector so we're expecting a high octane banging set from him. He also likes to play up tempo, golden years NYC hip hop so expect to have a sore neck after he plays.
Conor Scoble aka Saeph is a young and talented selector hailing from the sleepy Cornish town of Saltash. He's a guaranteed party starter who can drop the seediest italo tinged grinders next to some smooth, soulful Japanese jazz funk. Conor presents a monthly show on Bristol based 1020 radio showcasing his wide ranging taste and is constantly expanding his horizons with 'research trips' on the Bristol party scene. One to watch.
