Dial Africa w/ John Stapleton & Pencilface at Cosies

A clubnight held at Cosies on Thursday 7th March. The event starts at 22:00.

Dial Africa returns to Cosies for our bi-monthly residency! Come in from the cold & boogie down to some warming global grooves.

This time we bring down full time digger and all-round wax activist John Stapleton from Wanted Records and another special guest we know has a deep record collection; Pencilface from Hellfire Video Club. These two are bound to show us some tasty rarities we've not heard before, and warm up Cosies nicely with some great music from across Africa.

Hear what they're about on Mixcloud via their respective Mixcloud channels: https://www.mixcloud.com/johnstapleton/" target="_blank">https://www.mixcloud.com/johnstapleton/ and: https://www.mixcloud.com/pencilface/.

Expect to hear Ethio-Jazz/Funk, Soukous, Highlife, Afrobeat, Afro-Disco, Boogie & more, all freshly dug up from the African continent and served on wheels of steel for your musical enjoyment!
