event
on Tuesday 19th October. The event starts at 17:30.
"Word Play" is a social meet-up to improvise short writing pieces, collaborate together and get to the heart of it.
Each night is centred around a topic, kicking off with "Ancestry"
We will explore writing techniques and partner/group collaborative exercises to experiment with our self-expression in often surprising and unexpected ways.
"Word Play" is a place to improvise together new ideas but if you have any half-baked/work-in-progress pieces these are HEAVILY encouraged for us to possibly develop further or inspire new pieces, so give your journal an airing!
This is a light and fun social where zero prior experience is required to join in. We hold a creative and playful space for for all skill and commitment levels to explore our stories and share our voices in a mutually supportive environment.
As a space we rely solely on donations and our suggested donation is £5.
Drop-in's welcome, we are located on the first floor of The Galleries, opposite The Food Court with wheel chair access, complimentary drinks and facilities.
