Soul In The City is a new night dedicated to celebrating the rich legacy of Black music, from soul-tinged pop to funk-soaked R&B. Curated by French artist Maxime Elliot, this event brings together local talent, unforgettable melodies, and fresh original music. Expect a warm, intimate evening of soul-stirring performances, storytelling, and good vibes in a cosy setting at The Crafty Egg.

JOSH HICKS

A contemporary welsh blue-eyed soul singer songwriter Josh Hicks, self-styled after icons Amy Winehouse, Ms. Lauryn Hill and Adele, is known for his soulful emotive vocals, heartfelt storytelling and witty conversation. His sound is reminiscent of the Golden Age of American soul music, with a modern lyrical awareness.

AISHA B

Aisha B is a British singer-songwriter of mixed English and Libyan heritage. Her passion for music and singing began from a young age, inspired by artists such as Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, and Lauryn Hill. Her raw soulful sound and deep heart felt lyrics encompass her personal journey in life and draw upon her experience of living between two different cultures.

GWYD ION

GWYD ION is a bilingual soul/alt artist blending guitar licks, basslines, and vocals into soulful, textured compositions. Think Tom Misch meets Tash Sultana.
