MacMillan Charity Event at Crofters Rights
All expenses go straight to charity

A gig held at Crofters Rights on Monday 6th May. The event starts at 19:30.

This is a charity event held for Macmillan! 3 female artists will be performing:
1. Alice Miles
2. Eva Penney
3. Millie Whitestone

There will be a range of covers and original music and something for everyone to enjoy. All profits will be going straight to charity. The reason we have chosen this charity is because many people are affected by cancer and deserve to have the support they need. By doing this, we hope we can raise the money to help even just one person on their journey through cancer.

Alice Miles:
Alice is a 19 year old Bristol-based musician. She crafts haunting melodies that dive deep into the struggles of life. Drawing inspiration from her own experiences, she weaves emotive tales of heartache and resilience. With a delicate voice and introspective lyrics, Alice invites listeners into her world, where vulnerability meets strength, and every note carries the weight of her journey. Through her poignant compositions, she captures the essence of human emotions with her raw lyricism and minimal textured songs. Her genre is inspired by bedroom pop and folk-pop.

With trailing and looping melodies, acoustic folk and neo-soul inspired guitar, and rich, captivating vocals, she performs a combination of raw solo tracks and moving band-backed material.

Her debut EP was released in April 2023 - a collection of stripped-back voice memo recordings, keeping to her ethos of emotional transparency for both herself and her audience.

Millie Whitestone:
Upcoming singer Millie Whitestone brings a refreshing and soulful approach to the UK RnB scene, combining her silky vocals with strong ambient back beats and often her acoustic guitar! Whitestone began writing and creating music from a young age and gained recognition through her variation of popular covers and busking in her home city of Gloucester. Through this foundation she found her own unique and encapsulating sound and has since been working with established Bristol producers to develop this sound further for her exciting upcoming releases. With cementing her place in the Bristol music scene and the Uk RnB scene, Whitestone has gained some great connections and has secured spots performing at notable festivals such Glastonbury and Love Saves The Day.
