Rounding off the month, we've invited a DJ who's no stranger to kick-starting a party. Katsugi is one of Sheffield's finest, a resident at Superfly and renowned for heating up the dance at Hope Works, Yellow Arches and the Millenium Galleries. She DJs the full spectrum from dark to light, but for this date, she's going back to her roots and bringing a classic Sheffield bleep set down to the Bristol.
Sheffield bleep, well documented in Matt Anniss' Join The Future book, is an integral part of dance music history, from its inception in the late 80s and a huge influence on electronic music since then. We're itching to loose ourselves in Katsugi's journey through her record bag of bleep.
The Supersmash residents - Petit Four, Spinthief & Waxmouse - will be in full support, pulling out each and every stop for a full sweat box experience.
