Spring is here and 4/20 is looking lit!!
Wednesday 20th April we're bringing you fun, bassy heaters to put a spring in your step from the likes of Gracie T and Jungyals Chiedza, Emmy and TFNE!!
Gracie T
Gracie T is a DJ, creative and teacher based in Sheffield, UK. Fresh from her recent Boiler Room (Yung Singh Presents: Daytimers), Gracie T has been drawing attention from across the globe.
Part of the Northern music scene since 2018, Gracie T has supported artists such as Conducta, LCY, Sherelle, Anz, Jossy Mitsu & more and has a residency on BBC Asian Network. Gracie T spins whatever she wants, drawing from an eclectic selection of electronic dance music and percussive influences from her 14 years as a drummer. Watch her Boiler Room or Keep Hush sets to understand why she is the queen of vibes, bringing
energy to every set.
Chiedza
Chiedza (Chee-Ed-Zuh) turned her lockdown hobby into a dream come true. After graduating from Saffron's Mix Nights course in September, she has enjoyed playing out in some of Bristol's best underground venues. She loves to mix both old and new UK garage, whilst combining her favourite grime instrumentals and, occasionally, a twist of house and techno.
Chiedza has started 2022 with a bang. She joined the Concrete Jungyals, played sets on Noods radio, played b2b alongside TFNE at Keep Hush and is now looking forward to playing more sets in Cardiff and Bristol in April. She has also been booked for the prolific NASS festival and brand new Fields of Fantasy
Emmy
Up and coming Bristol-based superstar Emmy is renowned for her deep Disco grooves through to her fast Garage cuts. With many sets under her belt from Bristol and beyond, coupled up with her fun mixing style, Emmy is one to watch!
Expect to hear some bouncy, high energy Old School UKG from Lakota resident, Crotch party starter and Jungyal Emmy.
TFNE
Co-founder, TFNE has been making strides within the music industry since starting Concrete Jungyals in 2017. In 2020, Tiffany took the leap to take her love for music to the next level by joining Saffron Records’ Mix Nights DJ program for women and non-binary persons. Although, still in the early stages of her career, TFNE has already been making a stamp on Bristol's underground scene, with sets at Love Saves the Day, Batu's Tunnel Vision and most recently Keep Hush.
You can expect a whole bag of exciting unpredictability from TFNE going forward, with her eclectic and energetic tastes ranging from UKG, UK Funky, Footwork, Jungle, Club Edits and Booty Bass bangers her sets are sure to get you moving pon de dancefloor!
