Jan/Jon/JOW is a fabulously unusual composite beast: a seamless weave of uncategorisable acoustic music and lyrical, vivid & poignant words. The latter come from two contrasting poetic voices: Herefordshire-born/Bristol-based Jan Edwards, and Bath-based writer Jon Hamp, both of whom are launching new publications at this event. Music comes from JOW, the cello & trumpet duo of James Gow and Pete Judge, whose music skitters between jazz, folk and classical chamber music to enthralling effect.
