De Anima

Brand new trio about which we are very excited. Bristol-based De Anima play “prog-& jazz-inflected ‘alt rock’, singing stories that explore intimate interactions, real life events and politics, often sourcing lyrics verbatim from unusual places” - but that description doesn’t really do justice to their beautifully unusual sound and harmony-laden vocals. They are guitarist/singer Jojo Holmes, drummer Matt Jones (see Nov 12< sup>th< /sup>!), and bassist/singer Jen Bell.
