Grassroots Aussie musician Ziggy Alberts has won the hearts of thousands with his energetic performances, open-hearted conversations and emotional songwriting that evokes a feeling of connection that ripples through the crowd. Drawing influence from folk contemporaries James Vincent McMorrow, Jack Johnson and early Ben Howard, Alberts’ sunshine blend of acoustic tunes mix with “a minimalist, raw vibe that accentuates the humanism of his songwriting” (Pop Matters). With the release of his fifth studio album ‘Laps Around The Sun’ Alberts is touring the world, and we’re lucky to present him and his glorious folk-pop in The Fleece this coming spring.
