Get ready for a seriously uplifting ceilidh led by Ceilidh Tree — dubbed “London’s best ceilidh band” (London Evening Standard) and guaranteed to “jig you into a frenzy” (Time Out). Expect stomping fiddles, an expert caller to guide every move (no experience needed!), and a special performance from acclaimed jazz-folk singer Gwyneth Herbert (“A remarkably gifted talent” — The Guardian). Fuel the fun with a full bar featuring local brews from Bristol Beer Factory, plus delicious food from FED. All proceeds support Borderlands’ outreach work in Bristol’s asylum hotels, including an inspiring partnership with Folkstars that provides children from asylum-seeking families with free weekly music lessons and instruments. Founded in 2011, Borderlands works to bring people from social exclusion to belonging. Folkstars, launched in 2024, now supports around 400 children each week across Bristol schools, widening access to music and creativity. Together, they’re helping young people build confidence, skills, and joy through making music. Come for the dancing. Stay for the food, drink and amazing music. Leave knowing you’ve supported something truly meaningful. www.borderlands.uk.com/ www.folkstars.co.uk/
