With our doors, sketchbooks and arms open, we invite you to our second OPEN STUDIOS. Since landing in our huge industrial estate in late 2017, we have blossomed into an ever growing arts community of 45 artists, makers and designers and we don't half have some amazing new work to show you.

Short animated films made by the 8 talented and internationally celebrated puppet makers and animators of the Hangar Puppet Animation Studio in the intimate and cosy attic space.

MENDING CIRCLE by OB WEAR & Project Pico 1-2pm, FREE
Learn the techniques to repair your damaged clothing and to give your wardrobe a new lease of life! Bring along a damaged garment and learn the skills to repair it yourself! Materials, including yarns, threads, scrap fabrics for patches and tools will be provided though welcome to bring any of your own. Learning how to darn jumpers, patch up jeans and simple repairing and clothing care techniques you can take home.
SCREENPRINT YOUR OWN GARMENT by Inkling Print Studio, Drop in, £2
Have a go at pulling your own print through the silk screen with one of our artists designs, at the same time as reviving one of your old tee shirts, bags or fabrics! Plain tote bags also available for £3.

WHO MADE MY CLOTHES? By OB WEAR & Project Pico, 5:30 - 6:00:
As part of Fashion Revolution Week, Estate of the Arts tenants, clothing maker Milly of OB WEAR and Phoebe co-founder of ethical intimates label, Project Pico will host a Q&A discussion on their works and processes within the ethical fashion movement, native fibres and the developments in the British fibre industry and the wider problems, effects and challenges the fashion industry faces. During their talk, they will explore ways we can create ethical change through our wardrobe and campaigns such as "Who made my clothes?".
