Reading's own Ben Marwood is a folk-punk songwriter singing songs about Pi and the Pantheon, of love and of Lovecraft. His three albums on London label Xtra Mile Recordings draw influence from the likes of Elliott Smith, Frank Turner, Fionn Regan and Jeffrey Lewis, and a fourth album is mostly written apart from the unfinished bits. He's toured Europe and America, been all over the radio, he thinks Breakfast tea is better than Earl Grey and the best kind of cake is lemon drizzle.
