The UK’s largest and most exhilarating folk band, Joe Broughton’s Conservatoire Folk Ensemble, brings their unstoppable energy to Bristol Beacon for an unforgettable night of music. With a 50-piece lineup including fiddles, horns, cellos, percussion, guitars, flutes, clarinets, accordion, and bass, the Ensemble delivers a show that is both musically rich and physically thrilling. Formed in 1997 by boundary-pushing fiddle player Joe Broughton, the band fuses traditional British and Celtic folk with rock, jazz, funk, ska, Afrobeat, and Eastern European melodies.
