Life In Mono + Support at Exchange
See event details

A gig held at Exchange on Thursday 16th October. The event starts at 19:45.

Life In Mono are a Bristol-based band blending the raw emotion of grunge with the weight of alt-rock and the cinematic sweep of post-rock. Influenced by Brutus, Portishead, Deftones and PJ Harvey, their sound is dark, immersive, and bristling with atmosphere — both on record and in their explosive live shows.

Their 2025 EP, If I Could Sleep, has already earned BBC Introducing Spotlight status, with Radio 1 airplay cementing their place as one of the UK’s most compelling underground acts.

Following standout performances at The Louisiana, Crofters Rights and Rough Trade Bristol — where fans travelled from across the South West — Life In Mono have built a loyal following through shows described by reviewers as “crackling with intensity.”

Now stepping onto a wider stage, 2025 sees the band bringing their electrifying live energy to festivals and venues across the UK. Recently featured on BBC News for their impact on the Bristol music scene, Life In Mono are a band not just to watch — but to feel.

Entry requirements: 14+, any under 18s accompanied by 21+ adult 1:1 ratio
