Goodall is back with new frequently funky music with a new bunch of virtuoso musicians based in their home city of Birmingham.
Having studied and played with musicians such as bluesmen Ian Siegal and afrobeat star Dele Sosimi, these experiences are now more than ever being channeled into Goodall’s own idiosyncratic music and performance style.
His shows are involving and high energy.
“Beautiful music, I love it”. – Guy Garvey, BBC6 Music, Elbow
Dusty Cut is the wistful music project of award-winning writer Phil Jones. Together with Thomas Lavery, Simon Dowling, Lilla Farkas and Tim Swan, Dusty Cut write songs about friendships and loves gained and lost, fights in restaurants, Scottish islands and the sea. The band are based in Cardiff and released their debut album 'Hawaii' in 2017.
Formed in Bristol, Dusty Cut started by playing indie folk songs at house parties where everyone wanted to listen to dubstep. Since then Dusty Cut have developed a warm sound that incorporates moody folk, 70s rock and a hint of strangeness inspired by eccentrics like Gruff Rhys, Arthur Russell and Big Thief.
Karen Swan has been described as an enigma. Her soaring vocals and incisive original songs transport the listener to a creative wonderland. Often niched as Avant Folk she is also an actor and clown and has performed worldwide solo, as duo with the incredible pyrotechnic mandolin player Carl Philip Louis and backed by the ethereal vocalscape of Aether Valentine. Festival performance includes, Bristol Harbour Festival,Bath Festivals Party in the City,Keynsham Folk and Roots and Gloucester Folk Trail. New album to be released in April 2026
