Bonanza Jellybean
With support from Nikolai Anokhin + Hester Eleanor + Grain

£7.50 Adv
7pm doors

Bonanza Jellybean are a Cornwall-based trio bringing you tunes from a dilapidated barn. Their songs sit somewhere in between anarchic punk anthems and jaunty nursery rhymes, with inspiration stemming from The Raincoats, Micachu & the Shapes and Mermaid Chunky (to name a few). Playful, chaotic and absurd, the multi-instrumentalist trio will tell you stories to make you laugh and cry. Expect to be handed toy keyboards, to dance with giant cardboard toothbrushes and to join in a collective cow MOOOOOOoooooooo!!

Lea Judge, Madeline Rolt and Lily Montague met at The Pearl Exchange, a youth charity space in Bude, Cornwall. Since self-releasing their debut album, 'I Don't Understand the Solar System and I Don't Want To' on their label Bunk (Bude-punk) Records, they have performed in Bude and London. Currently a demo album is being compiled, and a second album is taking shape.

Hester Eleanor
Bristol-based singer-songwriter Hester Eleanor released her EP Give me a Story in 2024, the title track featured on BBC Introducing last year. Her musical influences span from Nick Drake to Adrienne Lenker, John Martyn to Madeleine Peyroux. Drawing on experiences lived by the Cornish sea & a childhood in Devon and Somerset, her lyrics grieve old stories and welcome new ones. With layered harmonies, simple guitar and spoken word, she beckons connection: to nature, one another and self.
