In celebration of making it out the other side of the apocalypse, PHATBristol are throwing a night of freedom, love, dancing and incredible music.
- Mass House are a pair of Bristol-based Brummie's baking banging beats with their indie-electro synth punk.
- Try Me are a disco-punk duo, exploding onto the Bristol scene with a contagious chemistry that has got the whole city grooving. Their mischievous personalities combine with driving 90's beats to radiate energy you can't help but dance to.
- The Datura Roots Collective, the eclectic Roots fusion from Teignmouth are inspired by roots reggae and dub to smokey blues and Jazz, then twisted up with rap and EDM.
- Lynks, the artist formerly known as Lynks Afrikka, is heading up a new queer revolution bent on complete and utter world domination.
So far things are going well! They've been tipped by The Guardian, DIY, Loud and Quiet, Jack Saunders (Radio 1), John Kennedy (Radio X) and Elton John (yes, Elton John) as one to watch. Pre-Covid their legendary, life-changing live show had become a certified cult hit, routinely selling out venues across the UK and attracting co-billings with acts like Goat Girl, Confidence Man and Sorry.
In these cRaZy aNd UnCeRtAiN TiMeS, one thing is certain: Lynks has not rested. Dropping their debut EP 'Smash Hits Vol.1', which garnered critical acclaim from NME and DIY, they have solidified their status as a singer/songwriter/producer like no other and a true force to be reckoned with.
