Events on Wednesday 28th July
“Music and Making Social 001 is the first of many events brought to you by newly founded created platform Together We Make. Together We Make has been brought to life to celebrate the colourful and rich diversity of Bristol and beyond’s creative scene. During a time where it feels as though creative culture isn’t fairly valued for what it brings to our human existence by financial gatekeepers and business types, we seek to find and create from the underground a community of resilience, empowerment, and unity.”

“About your teacher Rowan was brought up as a Quaker which is a pacifistic sort of Christianity that uses quiet reflection as its form of worship. He then in his 20’s started practicing Vipassana meditation which is purported to be the original teaching of Siddhattha Gotama the Buddha as was taught by him in his lifetime. While studying the techniques Rowan completed 3, 100 hour meditation retreats as well as keeping up a regular 2 hours daily practice.”
