held at Fiddlers
on Friday 29th November. The event starts at 19:00.
The beating heart of the Cuban Community presents the iconic album ‘Buena Vista Social Club’.
One of the UK’s premier percussionists- and the man behind Sambroso Sambroso, the renowned London-based Cuban party tribe- Oreste Noda was born and raised in Matanzas, Cuba. With his supreme talent leading him to work with huge names from across the world, from Buena Vista Social Club’s very own Ibrahim Ferrer to Mercury-nominated Soweto Kinch, there is no one better placed to present one of the most iconic albums in living memory.
Armed with a band made up of some of the most talented Cuban musicians, Noda, will transport Fiddlers right into Havana for an evening of sunshine-filled rhythm-driven music. Get the mojitos poured and climb out of your classic car for a night of sunny good times with the beating heart of the UK’s Cuban Community.
“From the roots of rumba to salsa, timba or any Cuban fusion. We’re about giving energy and happiness through music, to those who want to join us on our journey.”
