Mariam sings Amadou & Mariam at Bristol Beacon

A gig held at Bristol Beacon on Wednesday 4th November. The event starts at 20:00.

Following the death of Amadou Bagayoko in April 2025, Mariam continues the extraordinary musical journey that she and Amadou built together over more than four decades.

One half of one of Africa’s most beloved musical partnerships, Mariam brings the songs that introduced Amadou & Mariam to audiences around the world, blending Malian traditions with infectious rhythms, warmth and optimism. Joined by longtime collaborators, she performs cherished favourites alongside music from L’Amour à la Folie, a new album that celebrates love, resilience and enduring connection.

More than a tribute, these performances carry forward a remarkable legacy, honouring the spirit of a partnership whose music continues to unite people across generations and borders.
