“Women have been historically treated with inferiority and victims of repression and violence. Artists Aranzazu Perez, Grise Malayerba, Maria Linares and Cristina Cuevas, explore how different gender issues, like domestic violence, gender inequality and sociocultural repression, affect women in the world. From our group of artists we would like to show our rejection to all these issues affecting women, through art. Some of our works confront and criticize the twisted ideologies about women in the media and society, while others show solidarity in the struggle for women’s equality.”

“A recent health scare (well, a mild bout of sciatica) has made "Sheffield's finest singer/songwriter" (The Times) focus on his mortality, and the many things he needs to do before the inevitable move into a hospice. Can sole agent, Ken Worthington pull out the stops and make John a star before his retirement? As befits a man living on borrowed time - John considers Life's major issues: the rise in popularity of hi viz protective wear, the suitability of the plastic lid on takeaway coffee cups, and the excitement he felt when sucking his first mint: "It gave my tongue activity, as the mint's flavours bore into me, turning my grey world azure blue - I remember my first Polo, do you?"”

“Their music blends various influences ranging from Gypsy Jazz & Blues to Mediterranean Folk & Hip Hop. They have a swinging rhythm section – driven by Double Bass, Manouche Guitar rhythms and Drums. This provides the foundations for MC Mao to deliver his own style of beat-poetry, with Violin and Clarinet ripping through the melodic lines.”

“Spacebound Apes, Neil Cowley Trio’s 2016 release, is “a distinct departure for [the band], if not a change of direction” (London Jazz News). Not just limited to a simple CD and download, you’ll find a website, series of blogs and animated sheet music book telling the story of an ape who goes galactic to face his fears. “All of which would be preposterously overblown, were it not for the fact that the music itself …is breathtaking” (Drowned in Sound). All About Jazz says “it might just be the finest album of Cowley’s career to date”.”
